Carpenters - Gold - Greatest Hits (2002) DVD5

This DVD brings you the first-ever collection of Carpenters videos, featuring their #1 songs (They Long to Be) Close to You; Top of the World , and Please Mr. Postman plus their Top 10 hits We've Only Just Begun; Superstar; Rainy Days and Mondays , and nine more. Great remastered sound and video!. The VHS/Beta Yesterday Once More was released in 1985, shortly after Karen Carpenter's death in 1983. The tape was repackaged as a DVD in 2002 under the name Gold: Greatest Hits, and the DVD contains all the videos from Yesterday Once More. It's a measure of the ongoing popularity of Karen and Richard Carpenter that the 2002 release of this video collection in DVD format comes nearly 20 years after Karen's death. The duo's heyday mostly preceded the MTV age, so this 15-song, 55-minute anthology is a bit of a visual hodgepodge, composed of still photos, footage from TV shows and concerts, promo clips. You'll see an array of bad haircuts and outfits and a whole lot of lip-syncing, but in the end, it's the music that counts. And the Carpenters' signature sound, with its brilliant arrangements, its lush harmonies, and Karen's exquisite alto voice, was easy-listening pop at its finest. If nothing else, Carpenters: Gold offers another chance to hear that music in all its glory.

Wham! - The Final (25th Anniversary Ed) (2011) DVD5

The Final is a compilation and the third studio album (in the UK) released in 1986 to summarise the career of British pop duo Wham!. The album was not initially released in North America, where Wham!'s third and final studio album Music from the Edge of Heaven was released instead. Four songs from that album appear on this compilation.
The CD edition omits "Blue (Armed with Love)" and the extended mixes and it was overlooked for the 25 anniversary rerelease. A deluxe edition of the album was released on CD/DVD and download in November 2011, with the DVD featuring all of Wham!'s music videos, including the video for "Young Guns (Go for It!)", "Last Christmas", and a remix version of the video for "Everything She Wants". It follows the track listing of the CD, with the exception of "Battlestations", as it was a B-side and not an official single

RockPop appeared on the ZDF channel of German television from 1978 to 1981 and was one of the few purely musical programs. Leading Christian Simon represented artists, briefly talked about them, often talked with musicians after their performance. And that's all. No sketches, games with spectators and quizzes - just music! I generally wonder how such a "boring", by Western standards, the transfer could last for 4 years!
By the way, the "television chance" was provided not only to eminent guests, who had a lot in the history of the program, but also to quite unknown, young artists, some had the only opportunity to appear on TV at that time.

Agnetha Faltskog - The Greatest Video (2010) DVD5

Agnetha Åse Fältskog, born 5 April 1950, is a Swedish musician, singer, songwriter, actress, and author. She achieved success in Sweden after the release of her debut album Agnetha Fältskog in 1968, and reached international stardom as a member of the pop group ABBA, which has sold over 380 million albums and singles worldwide, making them one of the best-selling music artists in history.
After the break-up of ABBA, Fältskog found some success as a solo artist in the 1980s, though became highly reclusive and avoided outside publicity, settling in the secluded island of Ekerö. Kim Wilde - The Very Best Of (2008) DVD5

Kim Wilde (born Kim Smith; 18 November 1960) is an English pop singer, author, DJ and television presenter who burst onto the music scene in 1981 with her debut single "Kids in America", which reached number two in the UK. In 1983, she received the Brit Award for Best British Female solo artist. In 1986, she had a UK number two hit with her version of the Supremes' song "You Keep Me Hangin' On", which also went on to be a major US hit, topping the charts there in 1987. Between 1981 and 1996, she had 25 singles reach the Top 50 of the UK singles chart. Her other hits include "Chequered Love" (1981), "You Came" (1988) and "Never Trust a Stranger" (1988). This DVD contains her hit singles but I am not sure if its an official release.
